Quote of the day :
“The good times of today, are the sad thoughts of tomorrow.”
-Bob Marley-

No matter who you are, this quote is applicable to your life. Everyone has had a day or two, that they didn't want to come to an end, and by the next morning, sadness overwhelms you while you wish you could do it all over again.

Warmin up.

I should be sleepin, but I cant stop thinkin. Thoughts-runnin rampant. Somethings I said, I wish I never meant it-but. But what can u do? What I choose, is to ignore, then accept it. I think thats called denial and acceptance? Whatever the matter, still thinkin about the latter-things that use to, but now dont even matter-however, I made up in my mind, where those subconscious thoughts dwell, to leave HELL to the sinners. I will always and forever be a winner.

Wiz Khalifa x Hardknock TV

Oh na na, whass my name?

They want YOU!

The "YOU TOO" Response!

Have you ever been at a department store and on the way out the associate says “Have a Nice Day!” The appropriate thing to say in reply would be a simple, “You Too!”
This is all fine and dandy but sometimes I get a little carried away with such a default response.
For instance, the associate sometimes say, “Thank You for shopping with us!” My mind once again goes into default mode and I blurt out a “You Too!”
Now that doesn’t make any since. They didn’t shop in your establishment, what were you thinking? Ever since it has just been a bad habit. I try and catch myself right before it slips out but it does.
Everything has the reply “You Too!”
Lady compliments me on my beard, “That’s a nice beard you have.” “Why thank you, YOU TOO!”
“Please Come Again.” “YOU TOO!”
“I can’t wait to see you next week. “YOU TOO!”
I know your probably thinking “What a silly problem!” but 77.3% of American face this same problem every day, according to the statistics I just made up. We have to put a stop to such stupidity in America.
Not only is it an embarrassment to you as the “You Too” person but it makes the person receiving the response just as uncomfortable. My solution is the next time I’m greeted I’m just not going to respond!
That’ll teach them to try and pull a “You Too” response out of me. You know I bet they all know me by now and grab all their other department store friends,
Associate:  “Hey here comes that “You Too” guy watch this!”
Associate: “Hope you like the underwear you bought, sir!”
Me: “Thanks! You Too!”

Love and women

In my attempt to try to twist and manipulate the human language to fix my mouth to try to say just how beautifully in love I am with you, words can do no justice. I don't know quite exactly what it is but, somethin about the love of YOU! Loving me, perfectly is just too overwhelming at times. You let me penetrate the curves of your mind and what I found I will never let it go. Sometimes I wonder if I am dreaming but I know that this is real. I hope everyone can have the chance to let their dream girl become their reality...

Good Music

Good music. What is it? ..While some think it’s R&B and others think it's Pop, I myself, being a HUGE music fan, would have to say Hip Hop. No, not Waka Flocka, not Lil B, not Soulja Boy-REAL Hip Hop. Just because you rap, doesn't mean you’re Hip Hop.

Hip Hop is music, passion, art, poetry, style and for some, a way of life. There takes a certain amount of intellectuality to be a Hip Hop artist, that the majority of mainstream "Hip Hop" artists don't possess. Many TRUE artists are overlooked due to what the people want, and the silliness that the world wants to hear. In this day and age, you have to dig deep to find a REAL Hip Hop artist that you can appreciate, and say to yourself, "Now that's music!”

I personally am in LOVE with the "Backpack Rappers." What is a Backpack Rapper? This phrase is typically used for young aspiring artists, who use their lyrics to dictate their life experiences, and maybe even situations that you have experienced and can relate to. Backpack Rappers speak to AND for the younger generation, and get their inspiration from the greats who have come before them. Backpack Rappers = New generation of Hip Hop.

THUGS VS. GENTLEMAN??

This is for all the ladies out there. As Men we find it hard to read or even understand the Woman species. So I’m hoping to get some clarification behind a certain myth. Many guys out there have this prenotion that women are more so attracted to the “thug” or “bad guy” image than a respectable gentleman. Many times I have been forced to deal with this and have even questioned my whole “nice guy” image. What is it about thugs that interest you ladies?
Thugs give off this bad guy, been to prison, kind of tainted image and yet ladies are attracted to this! I just don’t understand what the big draw is all about. Is it the fact that you never know if he cares or is even being faithful, is it the fact that he smells like the streets, is it his deboir attire, or is it that you like the challenge of trying to tame such a beast? I really find this concept hard to understand.
Many women would argue that a good man is hard to find. Some would even say that men are all the same. That statement may have some truth to it. All men have the potential to be the same but we all choose different paths. Good men are not hard to find, I can name at least five in my inner circle. It’s not true that all the good men are taken either ladies. We are here on our grind. Grind meaning going to school, working towards a career, setting goals for our future. So where are you looking?
Let us analyze the places women find men. The clubs- trust me ladies most men you find in these places are looking for one thing. That guy who tries to spit game in the mall- although he may be worth the try, if it appears he is spitting game than maybe that’s all he’s spitting. All I’m saying is ladies hit up the book store, give that guy in your class a chance, these are the men who will love you.
Now I’m not saying I know the best places to find a “good guy” but ladies you have to be picky when choosing a man. If it seems you can only find thugs, change your location, sit down and think about the qualities you admire in a man. There are Good men out there! Yes, we may be a little sensitive, we may even cry every now and then, but I can promise you one thing when it comes to loving a woman, WE DO IT BEST!!!

My good friend suggested that we have a topic about something positive. SOooo, I recently seen For colored girls, and boy! AS a man, I am utterly and completely stunned at the one particular characters of the dancer and her guy of interest. He wore a suit, tie, and was just dressed casket sharp. He took her out to dinner one time and the next, she invited him into her home. He took off his clothes and his body was marked with tattoos all over. Needless to say, that he proceeded to rape this young woman of color. I hope that women dont get too trusting of a man jus bcuz he SEEMS like a nice guy so quickly. Ladies, u have to make him wait to jus get a chance to give u a peck on the cheek, CHIVALRY is the key. If a man doesnt wait for u, then he does NOT deserve to b in ur presence. Some men jus cant appreciate a black intelligent and beautiful woman, its sickening to kno that they would choose to beat, rape, and destroy the very thing that gave us life! Women please proceed with caution, bad men come in all shapes, sizes and disguises...
Ok so i kinda had this random day of thinking (as i periodically do) and what i just could not wrap my mind around was the power of words. Words hold so much meaning at the subjectiveness of others, that they can cause a multitude of feelings. SO, at first i thought of how people who use words have the ability to either do good or do bad. People can use words in so many twisted convoluted combinations that can cause nations to want to take up arms and destroy others. the tiniest words can grow into the biggest insecurities. think about what u say and how u say it, cuz people who say that words dont hurt, are liars!!!

This is HOT!!

And you thought it was just a kiss!!

Nothing says passion like kissing! I mean it says so much! But have you ever just taken the time to analyze the facts behind kissing? Well if you hadn't here are 10!

1. Two out of every three couples turn their heads to the right when they kiss.

2. A simple peck uses two muscles; a passionate kiss, on the other hand, uses all 34 muscles in your face. Now that’s a rigorous workout!

3. Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two lip impressions are alike.

4. Kissing is good for what ails you. Research shows that the act of smooching improves our skin, helps circulation, prevents tooth decay, and can even relieve headaches.

5. The average person spends 336 hours of his or her life kissing.
6. Ever wonder how an “X” came to represent a kiss? Starting in the Middle Ages, people who could not read used an X as a signature. They would kiss this mark as a sign of sincerity. Eventually, the X came to represent the kiss itself.

7. Talk about a rush! Kissing releases the same neurotransmitters in our brains as parachuting, bungee jumping, and running.

8. The average woman kisses 29 men before she gets married.

9. Men who kiss their partners before leaving for work average higher incomes than those who don’t.

10. The longest kiss in movie history was between Jane Wyman and Regis Tommey in the 1941 film, You’re in the Army Now. It lasted 3 minutes and 5 seconds. So if you’ve beaten that record, it’s time to celebrate!

And you thought it was just a kiss!!

Road to BEARDOM!

So i was just in the shower and I was thinking. I'm on this journey to be a great man one day and potentially have a billion dollar empire. So, as I said, I was thinking what are some things that many great men possess. After giving it thought and not to mention I could feel my skin start to wrinkle, it hit me! Great men equals BEARD!! Think about it, Jesus had a beard, I'm sure Socrates and Aristotle had beards. Zeus had a beard,Moses had a beard. The great Abe Lincoln almost had a beard. Einstein.....didn't have a Beard but he had a crazy looking mustache that we could classify in the beard section. Any how that is my inspiration for growing a beard, hence set me forth on a road to BEARDOM. I must say I have a pretty great beard forming at this moment. I'm sure you guys out there can respect the ability to grow such a thing. I mean hey even some of you ladies hold this ability as well. So with that being said I am on the right track for greatness and the "Road to Beardom"!
